(More customer reviews)I purchased to mulch on a newer sears craftsman riding mower.These blades replaced a Sears mulching kit that was just a few months old, but wasn't mulching very well.I have an extremely think 1.5 acre lawn, and unlike the Sears blades, the Oregon blades mulch it just great.I find I get the best results when I remove the mulch plug and have the Oregon Gator blades on the tractor.The thing that surprises me the most, however, is that the cutting is also better than the Sears mulching blade.I get a much more even cut from these than from the Sears mulching blades.I had read the cutting is better in other reviews, I guess because the blades are heavier, but I really am surprised by the extent of the difference.Bottom line, they work!
