42"/18 Cubic Foot Lawn Sweeper Review

(More customer reviews)This sweeper is by far the best made sweeper on the market.. I purchased the Agri-Fab top of the line and returned it within one week due to design and contructions problems, read my review on that product.

This Sweeper is easy to assemble and use.Very well made, no weak points, cleans fast, and stores using less space.

Product Description:
This professional grade sweeper is perfect for sweeping up leaves, grass clippings, nuts, small twigs, and many other types of lawn debris. It also features free wheels so you can reverse without debris kickback and is easy to empty which makes it perfect for composting. This lawn sweeper is a great piece of equipment to save time and effort in keeping your lawn and turf free of grass clippings, leaves, nuts and small twigs. A quality lawn sweeper helps promote a healthy lawn by sweeping up dead grass, leaves, acorns and other debris that can smother growth and create dead areas in your yard or on fresh sod. Some homeowners and professionals find it beneficial to run the lawn sweeper over the lawn prior to cutting, which results in fewer stops while mowing. This also removes materials that can dull the mower blades, and, additionally, the vacuum or brush action lifts the grass up straight for a perfectly even cut.Our lawn sweeper also works great for property owners that have litter problems on camp grounds, are adjacent to highways or roadways and even outdoor entertainment venues are using lawn sweepers after events to quickly and easily clean up. Rigid straight angled brush only sweeps into the 9 inch chute when moving forward but remains stationary while in reverse to eliminate debris kick back due to the advanced gearing system!- "No-slip" positive lock height adjustment will not vibrate out of position and has easy to remember height settings.- Easy dumping feature enables you to dump from your lawn and garden tractor, zero turn or ATV with a rear hitch.- Clevis hitch adapts to all lawn and garden tractors, zero turns and ATV's with a rear hitch.

(More customer reviews)When I saw this item and read the 2 prior, more glowing reviews I was thrilled as we were looking for one of these.Sadly, once it arrived it quickly became evident that this item was not built with quality or durability in mind.Without even assembling the item you get the sense it's very cheaply made. All the supplied hardware is plastic, and most all the places where 2 parts meet it's plastic meeting plastic (save the thin metal handles).Brushes are big plastic "combs".The catcher bag is thin tarp material and is very small- if you use this for leaf pickup unless your yard is 10x10 if you have even a couple of trees you will be emptying this every few steps. When I unpacked it the bag already had unstitched or torn in the corners. My sense is that after a few uses this thing will be useless-one crack in the plastic where there is stress under use and it will be at the curb with the rest of the trash.Save the money-even for light duty, I would not recommend. We sent ours back today.First item I have ever sent back to Amazon.Maybe one day I will find an old used one from the 70s at a garage sale-one that's made of metal and canvas with a LARGE catcher that will stand up to the task.Gave it 2 stars instead of one since it may actually pick items up-though we never tried.
